We offer a paid, hands-on learning environment where UC Davis students grow into confident technical support professionals. Students are not required to have prior experience, as our professional staff teaches the fundamentals step-by-step to give students real responsibly that builds resume-ready skills.
Our program prepares students for the workforce by giving them real scope and real stakes, supporting faculty, researchers and peers much like an entry-level IT role. Along the way, they build transferable skills in communication, customer empathy, time management and change control, while collaborating across teams like Client Services, DevOps and campus IT on larger issues.

IT Service Desk Supervisor
As Service Desk Supervisor, Jesse oversees daily operations and the student technician program, with a focus on clarity, care, and learning. He serves as the student team’s escalation point and partners with Client Services and DevOps to resolve complex issues.
