The College of Engineering’s communications team writes and promotes stories about research, awards, alumni, students and student-led clubs and teams. We want to hear from you! Use the forms linked below to submit content ideas.

Our communication channels include news and news releases, web features and social media, among others. Story ideas should have broad appeal to a general reader with no specialized training in engineering.

Engineering Weekly

Engineering Weekly is a weekly electronic communications channel used by the Dean’s Office to communicate relevant news, seminars and events within the College of Engineering to faculty, academics and staff. 

To submit news, announcements or resources for the following week's newsletter, fill out our submission form by Friday at 10 a.m.

Grad & Postdoc Weekly

The College of Engineering’s Weekly Seminar and Events List for Graduate Students and Postdocs, or Grad Weekly, is used to share announcements, events and resources with graduate students and postdoctoral scholars.

To submit news, announcements or resources for the following week's newsletter, fill out our submission form by Friday at 10 a.m.

Engineering Monthly 

Launched in winter 2023, our undergraduate student e-newsletter Engineering Monthly highlights College of Engineering news and events and provides student resources such as internship opportunities, scholarship applications, and more.

Alumni Network News

Launched in winter 2019, our alumni e-newsletter Alumni Network News highlights College of Engineering news, introduces readers to fellow alumni, and promotes events and activities to enhance the alumni experience.

Staff Scoop

Staff Scoop will be on a publishing pause while the strategic community visioning process is underway. If you have ideas to improve Staff Scoop or the staff experience, please submit them to the online feedback form.
