Submit an Event to the Calendar
Events may be submitted by the college, departments and engineering-affiliated centers and institutes. Other campus departments hosting an event in partnership with an engineering entity or using an engineering space may also submit their events.
Events must be submitted by Thursday to be included in the next week’s Engineering Weekly.
The Communications team will receive and review event submissions on an ongoing basis, no less than one week following the submission was received.
Student club, organization and team events are not currently included on the college's calendar. Clubs, orgs and teams are encouraged to tag @ucdavisengineering on Instagram for event promotion.
Event Resources
Please contact engineeringevents@ucdavis.edu with any questions related to in-person or virtual/online events. We are happy to share knowledge and experiences to ensure a successful event.
To ensure the best experience possible for virtual/online event participants, collaboration is crucial. Please refer to our Virtual/Online Events Guidelines and Best Practices document to clarify roles, responsibilities and logistical considerations when planning virtual/online events.
Please refer to the Alumni, Industry and External-focused Events Guidelines and Best Practices document for expectations related to in-person and/or on-campus events for external audiences.
Other on-campus event resources can be found through Conference and Event Services.
Diversity, Inclusion and Accessibility
The Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion maintains the Diversity & Inclusion Calendar using Trumba. Practice respectful scheduling, increase awareness and build inclusion by checking the calendar before scheduling your events and meetings. The calendar includes holidays, religious observances, healing circles for our community, education and training opportunities throughout the year. Click Subscribe to receive weekly emails and/or download the calendar to your preferred calendar application.
Event hosts are required to provide appropriate accommodations to attendees who are deaf/hard of hearing, need mobility assistance or have service animals. Please refer to the Resources for Event Planner page for more information.
