Headshots

The Marketing and Communications team holds an annual portrait session at the beginning of fall quarter that is open to faculty, staff, graduate students and postdoctoral scholars.

Current faculty and staff who are unable to attend the open portrait session may request an updated headshot once per year.

All incoming faculty and staff should submit a request for a headshot as part of their onboarding.

Labs, Research and Facilities

We want to capture the cutting-edge work happening throughout the college. Submit a photography request form and our team will reach out to discuss how we can best capture your lab, research and/or facility.

When preparing for a lab shoot, please refer to the College of Engineering Photo Guide: Lab Protocol and Dress Etiquette.

Events

The Marketing and Communications team provides photography services for select college events. Event coverage is subject to a variety of factors, including availability. Events must be visually compelling, demonstrate engineering excellence at UC Davis and have the potential for broad utilization across the college's communication channels (web, social, etc.).

Videos

Requests for videography will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. All requests and questions should be sent directly to Catherine Cook.

Requests for photo coverage should be submitted at least one week in advance, preferably two.

All photos undergo a thorough review process, with only the best shots selected for editing and sharing. All remaining photos are archived. All photos taken by the Marketing and Communications team are proprietary of the university and the College of Engineering and are subject to use by campus departments and affiliates.
