IT Consultation
- IT Consultation
Each building and department has an IT staff member located on-site that will be on campus 3 days a week available for drop-ins for quick questions and emergencies. For longer consultations regarding projects and concerns, an appointment with a IT staff member can be made to categorize the requested work, determine rates if applicable and create a plan to move forward. Consultation with IT to determine if your IT needs can be met with a local IT service of the University, UC Davis Campus, or College of Engineering. If no local IT service is available, suggestions for outside services will be made when possible.

- Shared resources for groups or specialized functions
- Utilizing existing services, create shared resources for use by a group or department. Includes shared mailboxes, email lists, or storage.

The services below include cost recovery for IT staff time. Quotes must be approved before work begins.
IT Professional Services
- Cloud Computing & Cloud Storage Workflows
Architect and configure public cloud based tools to meet specialized needs.

Network connected video cameras for monitoring research.
Fulfillment: 5 business days response time to schedule consultation meeting. Estimate given after consultation is complete, which may be multiple meetings.
- Media/AV Event Support
On-Site or Off-Site event support to assist with presentation needs. For off-site events, a staff member may be available to monitor and help before, during and after the events if available. Extra peripherals such as mini-projectors, projector screens, extensions cords, can be provided. Zoom Rooms are preferred where possible.
Fulfillment: 5 business days response time to confirm availabilty of staff for requested event support. Equipment for recording is based on availability
