Important upcoming end of support for Office products
Upgrade today
Support for several Microsoft Office products will end in the coming months. Continued use of one of these products after support ends can expose our organization to security risks, productivity loss, and compliance failures.
To see which version of Office you are running, in any Office application such as Outlook, go to File > Office account.
Products support will soon end for the following:
- Office 2013 reaches end of support on April 11, 2023. This means Office 2013 will no longer receive security updates, bug fixes, technical support, or online technical content support.
- Office 2019 for Mac reaches end of support on October 10, 2023. The same risks that affect Office 2013 after support ends apply to Office 2019 for Mac.
- Connecting Office 2016 and Office 2019 to Microsoft 365 reaches end of support on October 10, 2023. After this end date, these Office versions may still be able to connect to Microsoft 365, but the connections won’t be supported and could experience performance or reliability issues over time. Microsoft 365 is one of the campus email services.
