Part 1 - Thursday, April 21

Part 2 - Wednesday, April 27

Part 3 - Thursday, May 5

Through discussions on laws, policies, mental health, support, and access, educators will gain a better understanding of the undergraduate and graduate undocumented and immigrant student experience. This interactive course is intended to be a first step and investment in analyzing the current resources within your unit and creating a more accessible and equitable experience for undocumented and immigrant students at UC Davis.

We have split the UPE training into three comprehensive hour-long sessions that will cover four different areas of focus presented by our facilitators: Legal Landscape, Mental Health, College Access, and Support, and Student Narratives. Attendance at all three is required to complete the training, however, we understand that is not always possible with varying schedules. We ask for a commitment to a minimum of two sessions with one being the final session with the student panel.
