DAVIS, Calif.; July 7, 2017– The college’s research and education strategic decision analyst, Regan Scott-Chin, is relocating to Amherst, Massachusetts, where her husband will begin a professorship at the University of Massachusetts in the fall. Regan will also join the university as an institutional research analyst. Her last day with the college will be Friday, July 21.
Prior to joining the College of Engineering as a research and education strategic decision analyst in 2016, Regan was an analyst with the UC Davis Office of Graduate Studies and Office of Research from 2012-2016. Regan’s work interpreting and communicating data from the American Society for Engineering Education and The U.S. News and World Report has been instrumental in the college’s strategic planning and decision-making processes. Her positive attitude and willingness to quickly respond to the college’s many ad-hoc requests for data will be sorely missed by her colleagues.
The college has interviewed candidates to fill Regan’s position and will announce a selection soon. We wish Regan and her family all the best in their new adventure back east.
